What Applications Do These Belts Work Well For?
Our industrial quality sanding belts are perfect for non ferrous metals (aluminum, copper, titanium, nickel) and ferrous metals (steel, stainless steel, pig iron, alloys, hardened steel, etc.). Why Would You Use A Flex Backing?
As the name suggests, flex backings are light and flexible. They are used when slack grinding (no platen or contact wheel) to give curved surfaces a uniform finish. Slack grinding is especially useful for convex curves (curves that extend outward like a football).
